PhD, President & ConsultantDr. Kazuhiro Kanmuri, PhD, has over 28 years of extensive clinical development expertise (worked in Japan organizations as well as global organizations) focused on strategic and operational excellence and sustained delivery in medicine development. His experience spans study, program, disease area, business category, and company organizational levels, covering various indications for cardiovascular, metabolic, and renal diseases, in addition to rare disease applications including oncology, regenerative medicine, and vaccine products.
- Various working environments: Sankyo, Pfizer Japan/US, Japan Medical Association Center for Clinical Trial, NHO head office, Ascent Development Services/PharmaLex Japan/Cencora, and Tanabe Pharma.
- Expertise: Drug development strategy, regulatory science (PhD in clinical medicine, certification in regulatory science from Kitasato University), comprehensive understanding of the medical environment in Japan, medicine development (strategy and regulatory pathway), clinical trial execution (cost-efficient QMS model), project management, and post-marketing safety measures.
- Serving as a member in Advisory Council Japan in DIA.
- Provide lectures related to medicine development in various academic organizations.
- Serving as a consultant/supporter for MHLW initiated Venture support scheme (MEDISO: Medical Innovation Support Office).
